Located at 110 N 4th St, Mebane, NC 27302, Taste of Filipino LLC operates as an asian grocery store serving Mebane in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Mebane with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in North Carolina may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–7 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (743) 244-5226. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 5 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Mebane.

Mebane is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mebane follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is a cute little shop with such great potential and the sweetest folks working there! I enjoy seeing what they have in stock from visit to visit! The selection of items is small right now, but I'm hoping it'll grow, and the overall prices seem reasonable, though some seem a bit high. On my very first visit I only purchased some snacks and drink mixes because they didn't have what I was searching for in stock. However, more recently, after viewing their Facebook account and reaching out to them I was finally able to get what I've been wanting! There are ONLY a couple of complaints about this market that I hope will soon change. Maybe I'm a bit too old-school, most of their items are NOT visibly priced (no stickers), so you don't know the price of items you're getting/wanting until you get to the register!? Also, they don't have the ability to print receipts, instead they'll email them to you. I do look forward to their plans to sell hot cooked Filipino food because as a true "foodie" I love to try foods from different cultures!πŸ˜‹ I hope this community will continue to fully support this family & this little market, that it will continue to grow & evolve, and that it'll be around

I was walking around downtown Mebane today, and strolled past this place. The nice woman inside waved hello as I passed (if my hearing didn't betray me, she later introduced herself as Rachel). When I walked back I stopped to take a picture about the food they cook for catering. She stepped out tell me that they also had some smaller batches ready to go, so more people could try it, since it was normally a call-ahead thing. She explained they had a pork in a slightly spicy coconut cream sauce, and Adobo chicken, and of course some rice. I got one of each, even though I had just finished an early lunch I figured I'd have them for dinner. When I got home, I decided to try a bite of each... and wound up eating the entire pork dish! The sauce reminded me a little of some of the Thai dishes that have coconut in them - which worked for me, I love Thai food. Rachel did warn that the dish could be a little spicy. This is something I stress in any review I write, it's really hard to be objective about spice/heat. So if regular Tobasco is the hottest thing you can enjoy, you will still enjoy this dish, just do NOT eat any of the chili peppers in the sauce (mind had a few bits and one lovely
